Latin music superstar Gerardo Ortiz will bring his highly acclaimed El Ejemplar Tour to Omaha this spring. Hit singles from Ortiz include “Adios” and “No Basta,” and his live shows regularly thrill audiences. He's one of those performers from the "older" side of norteño banda. He might incorporate some of the synth beats that we see a lot from Peso Pluma and the new age corridos tumbados movement. As mentioned, he's one of those guys who's on the border of old and new school in Mexican regional music. The good news is, he got enough of the old school to actually learn how to sing!

Mexican-American superstar Ortiz will bring his El Ejemplar Tour to town on Friday, 22nd May 2026. Latin urban sounds will electrify the Liberty First Credit Union Arena in Nebraska, Nebraska as Ortiz commands the stage. Thousands of fans will be out in full force as Ortiz brings the region’s biggest Latin urban sounds to an adoring and unwavering crowd. Celebrating Ortiz’s signature regional Mexican sound of music, the El Ejemplar Tour will feature new original music and all of Ortiz’s hits that have taken him from Mexico to international recognition.
Audience members will get a glimpse into the real emotion and on stage presence of Narcocorrido King Ortiz, performing such hit songs as “La Última Sombra”, “Tal Como Eres” and more explosive narcocorridos that define the genre to this day. Ortiz’s latest release shows the great maturity in his artistic vision without sacrificing the emotion and heart that Ortiz brings to every song as one of the greatest lyricists in Latin Music. His iconic hits such as “Regresa Hermano” will be performed live for fans in attendance. In the past two decades, Ortiz has worked alongside many top artists in Latin Music and has achieved number one status on every major streaming platform.
The Liberty First Credit Union Arena, located in Omaha, Nebraska, offers special acoustics and state-of-the-art concert features designed to deliver the ultimate concert experience.
